Bill Willard is a teacher of physics and has a passion for history.  He taught in the public schools (high school level) from 1986 - 2011, and now teaches at the college and university level.

Bill hosts an annual Titanic Conference (TitanicCon) in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee and all are invited to attend, no matter what level of knowledge one may have about Titanic.

Conference attendees come from all over America, and many return year after year to see and visit their Titanic "family".  In 2019, there were 9 Titanic family members in attendance.

Bill's wife Judi attends the conferences, and in 2019, she sang two versions of "Nearer My God to Thee", leading the audience in a verse to honor the Titanic victims and story.  She was preceded by Shelley Binder (great granddaughter of survivor Leah Aks), who played a beautiful musical tribute on her flute.

Bill began learning about the Titanic in 1974.  He continues to learn new components of a magnificent, but tragic, story.
